■What is a desert fox?
"Desert Fox" is a war simulation series that has continued since the Famicom era.
This series, which depicts modern warfare in which modern weapons collide, has moved from home game consoles to mobile phones, and has evolved by constantly incorporating new elements.
The first game was a full-fledged turn-based simulation game. The second game was a real-time strategy. And then there's the third game, Desert Fox V3, which was reborn in the "Tower Defense" genre. This work is a major improvement of this "V3" for smartphones.
■What is tower defense?
This is a defense-type simulation game in which you set up various defensive weapons and facilities to intercept enemies invading your own territory.
The game progresses in real time. The territory is a vast grid, and weapons are installed one after another there. Enemies will try to break through your base using the shortest route while avoiding weapons, so be sure to devise a way to set up the enemy's break-through route to make it as complicated as possible.
If you allow a certain number of enemies to invade, you will be defeated.
The key to victory is determining the enemy's characteristics, calculating costs, and efficiently deploying compatible weapons and facilities.
■Characteristics of the smartphone version of “Desert Fox V3”
In addition to various difficulty settings that can be selected from EASY to ENDLESS, there is a normal mode where you can carefully consider your strategy for each attack, a WAVE mode where you can immediately respond to the onslaught of enemies that attack in real time, and an enemy that attacks the "laboratory" on the field. Equipped with a laboratory mode that prevents the arrival of enemies, you can fully enjoy the deep world of tower defense.
Fully compatible with touch operations, including the "pinch-in/out" feature unique to smartphones.
Furthermore, all images have been redrawn and improved to be suitable for high-resolution screens.
A smart interface will definitely lead to smarter strategies!
