It's a great alternative. It would be 5 STARS if songs have all pertinent information like the year, track number, label, and ISRC number. It's driving me crazy as songs downloaded from this app don't have these vital information. That's my OCD screaming. Additionally, I want more music. It doesn't have a lot in terms of "underground" music I listen to. UPDATE: The songs don't have the option to download between 128 to 320Kbps? That's not good.

Bitrate choosing was not being used and I originally created it for data saving at the cost of quality. Also, songs from Flacs backends have all tags including lyrics

I was upset to see the web version redirecting to a paid app, but you deserve the price and more. Incredibly useful service and updated regularly, glitches fixed quickly. Clean ui, worth paying for. I'm glad there's no ad infested free version. My suggestion: put a download button on the preview player, let it play in background like web version, put website back up but with donate or pay-what-you-want option and maybe private log ins. ... Thanks for keeping me jamming out with or without a signal!

Thanks for the suggestions. I didn't implement full-featured audio playback intentionally, hoping users will just download what they need and play it with their favorite audio player. There was already donation button available, but almost nobody was donating (probably because it was not clearly visible). I might consider private service.

I wanted a way of playing songs in the background and whilst my phone screen is off and without ads and this app works great for that. This app looks and feels a lot like Spotify and it appears it has all the same songs too as Spotify (i could be wrong). For £3.59 one time purchase you cant go wrong with this. Youd pay about £10/month for the same functions on Spotify/Youtube Music. Very good value for money. Only problem ive found so far is it's a bit slow to load songs
