Nobuy is the alternative to buying. We no longer want to buy an item that we use once or twice before putting it away permanently in a closet.

This summer, we followed the fires, the floods, the temperature records in Canada and in Europe, the IPCC report, ... And this reassured us that we had to take action and propose an alternative. to our current consumption patterns.

The application is called Nobuy and works with a network of loans of objects between relatives. It is imagined as a shop where we find all the objects available in its circle. Our objects and those of friends make up this database.

You can easily add your objects with barcode recognition, the search bar or the list of objects.

No contract, no money between relatives. The objects are made available without monetary exchange.

The starting point of this project was to respond to two issues encountered regularly:
1 - Florent lent his things a lot, but forgot who to ... and never collected them.
2 - Waël wanted to avoid the purchase, but did not know who could help him in his entourage.

The Nobuy application is therefore both a reminder and a tool for finding objects.
