NOTE: The old version (<=v1.48) of Writer Plus stores files in the /Writer/ of the external card (On most devices it means SD card, others means a partition of the main flash.). Due to our upgrade to new version of Android SDK, the files in the SD card will no longer be directly accessible. To ensure the safety of your data, we need to migrate these files to the application\'s own folder.

Markdown is a lightweight markup language with plain text formatting syntax. Writer Plus supports:

What's upsetting is if I have over 10k words on a single document, random huge chunks are deleted when I open it back up, and it's gone forever! Why does this happen?! Some of that stuff was really important and not saved anywhere else and now I'm ripping my hair out from stress. This is why I have to constantly copy/paste making 2 of everything so I have a backup if it gets deleted (which happens TOO often!) Though sometimes I forget to😭 I shouldn't HAVE to make backups!

After some more time using this app, it's one of my favorite writing apps so far. It simple, easy to navigate and feels comfortable to write in. I use it for novels, so the markdown is quite helpful. As a quick note, I am updating this review to mention that I have been using this app for a long time now and it's still my go-to writing app. I'd love to see the ability to select and move multiple files, same with exporting multiple files or a folder as a .zip, but honestly, it's still perfect!.

Good app for me. I like the dark mode for my eyes and you can separate your writings into folders within folders for easy organization of books and chapters. While I think for the sake of intuitivness there should be a long press options menu for the folders and the 3 dots should be lightened or white for dark mode so they're easier to spot it's not anything important enough to me to bring the score down all around it was exactly what I was looking for for my phone
