Al-Sayyid Ibn Tawus Al-Hasani wrote a book called: Opening the Doors between People of Mind and the Lord of Lords, in which he explained the truth of Istikhara and mentioned some of the verses that indicate it, such as the Almighty’s saying: “And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses. They have no choice. Glory be to God, Most High above what He chooses.” “Rikun” (Al-Qasas/68 ) And his saying: “... to Allah belongs the matter, before and after...” (Al-Rum: 4).

The person must be pure and facing the Qiblah
