Durango Safe Transportation is a digital application designed to improve safety in Public Transportation of the Government of the State of Durango, Mexico.
Durango Safe Transportation is a digital application designed and officially authorized by the Undersecretariat of Mobility and Transportation of the Government of the State of Durango to facilitate and coordinate with government authorities emergency services that occur in Public Transportation, as follows:
1. Emergency Detection.
The application, through a Digital Panic Button "I'm in Danger," allows passengers and/or drivers to report risky or dangerous situations on public transportation in real time and receive prompt and accurate assistance.
2. Notification to Authorities.
When passengers and/or drivers report an emergency such as an accident, assault, sexual harassment, robbery, or any other circumstance that endangers the physical safety of passengers, the application automatically sends an immediate notification to emergency services and the relevant authorities, providing the current geographic location and essential incident data for a quick and accurate response.
3. Continuous Service Improvement.
With emergency information, authorities can visualize risk patterns, identify critical points, and adopt preventive and corrective measures that contribute to the safety of all public transportation users in the State of Durango, Mexico.
In addition, the application allows users to rate the quality of service received during their trip, thus contributing to improving the public transportation system.
What does the Durango Safe Transportation application offer?
1. Immediate Alert: Activating the "I'm in Danger" panic button instantly notifies the Emergency Control Center and authorities corresponding to the type of emergency for timely assistance.
2. Real-Time Location: Your geographic position is automatically sent to the Emergency Control Center and the appropriate authorities.
3. Vehicle Selection: Easily identify the route or truck you boarded.
4. Service Rating: Rate the quality of transportation at the end of your trip.
How does the Transporte Seguro Durango app work?
1. Open the app and scan the QR code of the truck you're traveling in.
2. Press the "HELP" Digital Panic Button.
3. Choose the type of emergency (Theft, Harassment, Accident, Assault).
4. Your alert is instantly sent to the Emergency Control Center and the appropriate authorities with the geographic location of the emergency.
Privacy and Permissions
We only request your permission, your name, phone number, and current location to contact you and assist you with your emergency.
Your data is not shared with third parties; it is used exclusively to contact you for your safety.
