The initiative aims to raise awareness among the population about the importance of voting and encourage citizens to act as monitors of candidates and parties in this year's municipal elections. Civil society will act as a monitoring agent.
Abuses of economic power cannot influence the democratic process. Complaints received on the application will be forwarded to the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The OAB has a constitutional obligation to defend the democratic state. The institution will act as a protagonist in the process of improving democracy. We do not want to penalize candidates and parties, we seek to raise voter awareness.
