REAL-TIME HYPERLOCAL TELEMETRY
- Live Sensor Streaming: A direct device connection is required to utilize the BDLx. Connect to a nearby sensor via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to instantly monitor wind speed, direction, temperature, relative humidity, dew point, and air quality (PM2.5 / PM10) directly on your screen.

- 24/7 Cloud Sync: Once provisioned with Wi-Fi credentials, sensors push data directly to the cloud 24/7 without requiring external gateways.

- Ignition Risk Modeling: Ambient temperature and relative humidity data generate a live fire risk safety halo around each sensor on your map.

- Threshold Alerts: Configure custom warning, critical, and emergency thresholds for sudden wind shifts, spiking temperatures, or air quality drops to receive immediate on-device audio and visual alerts.

INCIDENT & COMMAND MAPPING
- Tactical Drawing Tools: Map active incidents on the fly. Drop lines, zones, and vectors directly onto your operational map to log firelines, dozer guards, safety zones, and smoke plumes.

- Manual Field Readings: No sensor nearby? Firefighters can manually log and drop pins for active test fires, lightning strikes, severe weather changes, or smoke columns directly from the field.

- Offline-First Infrastructure: Built for the backcountry. Mapping data and manual field readings buffer locally and sync automatically the moment your phone regains signal.

ADVANCED FIRE OVERLAYS
Gain instant regional context by layering critical public data directly over your local sensor view, including:
- Satellite Hotspots: Live MODIS and VIIRS thermal satellite detections.
- Official Perimeters: Up-to-date active incident perimeters.
- Weather Alerts: National Red Flag Warnings, regional wind vectors, and active lightning tracking.

TEAMS AND SHARING

- Shared Workspace Organizations: Bring your entire fire crew, agency, ranch staff, or HOA into a unified account. Everyone operates off the exact same map and receives the same synchronized alerts.

HARDWARE INTEGRATION

No hardware is required to use the base platform. While a direct device connection is required to stream data from a physical BDLx weather sensor, any responder or crew member can utilize the app completely free of hardware to access shared team maps, log manual observations, pull satellite overlays, and use command mapping tools.

PRIVACY AND DATA SECURITY

- Your Data is Yours: Your organizational maps and readings are private to your members unless you explicitly choose to share a device publicly.
- Operational Privacy: Location data is exclusively used to pin sensor placements and pre-fill coordinates using your phone's GPS.
- No Tracking, No Ads: We do not sell your data, we never display ads, and we use zero third-party marketing or tracking SDKs.
