TNGF - Cosmo golf course is conveniently located in the heart of Chennai. Many luxury and star hotels are within a short distance to the course. The course is approximately 12kms from the Airport and 10kms from Central Railway Station. The high season to play golf in Chennai is between December and March when the weather is balmy. HISTORY OF THE COURSE
TNGF - COSMO Golf Course is situated in the heart of the city and spread over an area of 90 Acres. The Course was inaugurated on 15th January 1938 by the then Governor General of India, the Honourable Victor Alexander Hope, 2nd Marquess of Linlithgow and later re-designed by Mr. Peter Thomson. The front nine fairways are tight while back nine opens out to provide relief to poor scoring Golfers. The course is ranked as one of the most difficult on India’s Golf tournament circuit
