Ratings and reviews

Cannot rent a movie, cannot add a scene card (pretty sure I had one linked). Cleared Cache, cleared data, force stopped, uninstalled. Downloaded again, reinstalled, was already signed in when I launched it. Same issues. Terrible. It didn't used to be this way. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. No reason it shouldn't be flawless.

This app is just terrible. Try to play rented movies through it and it is so choppy. Try to cast from my pc to my tv and all I get in an error message (code 905). I have no issues with any of the other streaming apps including Twitch, which is notorious for bad quality. Congrats Cineplex, you manage to beat them. Looks like this has been an ongoing problem for months now. Don't have your tech team work too hard there Cineplex to fix this, they may hurt themselves.

Please do not spend your money trying to rent a movie from this app. When I finally found a way to actually get a movie to play on my TV, the absolute best we could get was 480p. I ended up having to rent the movie a second time from YouTube where it worked flawlessly. Cineplex - if you're going to offer a product, please make it functional. As is, it feels like you're stealing money for something that's unusable. I promise you, no Cineplex employees use this store.
