CPP SAFE is the official public safety app of Cal Poly Pomona and integrates with CPP’s Safety Alert System. The app provides students, faculty, and staff with added safety and emergency preparedness on the Cal Poly Pomona campus. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to campus safety resources.

CPP SAFE features include:

- Safety Alerts: When the Safety Alert System is utilized during a campus emergency, the app will push safety messages to your phone.

- Mobile Bluelight: Send your location to Cal Poly Pomona University Police Department (UPD) in real-time in case of a crisis.

- Friend Walk: Send your location to a friend through email or SMS on your device. Once the friend accepts the Friend Walk request, you would choose a destination and your friend tracks your location in real time; they can keep an eye on you to make sure you make it safely to your destination.

- Virtual WalkHome: Allow the University Police Department to monitor your walk. If you feel unsafe when on campus, you can request a Virtual WalkHome. A dispatcher on the other end will monitor your journey until you reach your destination.

- Tip Reporting: Report a safety/security concern directly to Cal Poly Pomona University Police Department.

- I’m OK!: Send your location and a message indicating that “I’m OK” to a recipient of your choosing.

- Chat with University Police Department: Communicate with UPD at Cal Poly Pomona via chat.

- Safety Toolbox: Enhance your safety with the set of tools provided in one convenient app.
      - Notification History: Find previous Push Notifications for this app with the date and time.

      - Campus Map: Navigate around the Cal Poly Pomona area.
      - Evacuation Map: Find gathering points after an evacuation alarm has been sounded.
      - Transit Map: Find transit routes currently in service.

- Emergency Plans: Campus emergency resources that can prepare you for disasters or emergencies.

- Support Resources: Access links to safety, wellness, and support resources for students, faculty, and staff.

- Safety Notifications: Receive instant notifications and instructions from the Cal Poly Pomona Safety Alert System when the system is utilized.
