Gameplay is fine, and they have plenty of challenging puzzles. The game loses stars due to occasionally interrupting gameplay for ads. I understand that the developers make money from ads, and having one pop up at the beginning or end (but not both) of a game is fine. Making you stop playing, usually disrupting concentration and flow, is not acceptable. I guess I have to continue my search for a good Sudoku game.

I really like a lot of the features of this app and paid to remove ads but it's gotten so much worse, I'm abandoning ship. There's super distracting animations every time you complete a row, column, or box, but honestly the worst thing is all of the events. I don't want to play the first try challenge or the puzzles or water sort or whatever else. Every time I open the app there's a million pop ups telling me that the challenges ended and "Better luck next time!" and it's incredibly annoying.

So, ignoring the fact that it generates ads every time you complete a number, it's also just a terrible Sudoku app. You have you play up to 15 games on a given difficulty before you can unlock the next one, and then it doesn't even change the difficulty. Even on the hardest difficulty, I'm using the most basic method of solving it, and succeeding. It's just as AI generated nonsense for ad revenue, and you shouldn't waste your time on it, or give them your money.
