Fariid has three main features and each feature is unique on its own
Fariid App is mobile app that uses QR Codes to pay and send money from your Zaad or E-Dahab wallet, this feature is very new in this region, simply scan the merchants’s QR Code, enter the amount and press send. This also has many potential interns of online payment like e-commerce and other online paid services.
Fariid also enables you to send money to your friends and contacts, exchange money and pay without having to know the USSD code to use for each occasion.
Most of people in Somalia and Somaliland don’t have bank accounts or credit cards so it is very difficult to buy anything online so with our app people can buy their favorite clothes, electronics and anything they need from our online store and pay with their mobile money like Zaad and E-Dahab.
