I love the idea of the app. I love the enhanced bitrates over YouTube and the ability to download videos directly is amazing. However, the lack of being able to play videos while my screen is off or queue videos really takes away from the experience, as I'd like to just be able to put on the drum stream I watch, put my phone in my pocket, and listen after a long day.

Overall a really good app, especially the sound and video quality which are obviously the main functions of this app. I docked a star for a few creature comforts I've grown accustomed to on the paid version of YouTube. First, when I lock my phone or minimize the app it doesn't continue to play. WAN show is a long podcast style show that I frequently only listen to so I need to be able to close my phone. Second, there is no search function on the home tab, only when I click the channel does it.

Been using for about 2 months now and can say without a doubt background play or the ability to download (phone locked,video still playing; not talking about pip) is absolutely needed. It hasn't been 2 weeks into the month yet and I'm at 8gb of data usage on floatplane alone. I'm gonna see about going down to 720 maybe 480 when I'm on my walks to see the difference over the next 2 weeks. Although I have unlimited data, we all know they start to slow it at around 20-25 gb.
