Very unimpressed given Generac is supposed to be the leader in home standby generators. You have to put in your full name, phone number, and address every time you open the app. Many times it reports incorrectly what the status is. For example, I'm standing by the unit and it says it is ready, but the app reports it is turned off and won't start in an emergency. Sometimes restarting the app helps, but not always,and, of course, you have to put in all your info each time you restart the app.

Setup is not easy. Took three times to create the account. Took three more times to get generator connected. The support desk was very little help. The apps UI is very poor and doesn't use keyboard commends (Go, Enter) so clearing the keyboard to move around the page was a burden, as well as Continuing through the pages. Such poor effort for such a modern company. If GENERAC or the MOBILE LINK team needs a UI programmer - GET ONE WITH EXPERIENCE on both APPLE & ANDROID! They hung up on me!

04/02/24...I received an email that an update will be coming out the end of April, & I wanted to make sure the app was set up to automatically update. I tried several times to open it, & It either showed connecting to Mobile Link while shaking like it was having a seizure, & it never opened, or the page just went completely black, & if I tried to go back, it wouldn't do anything, & I had to close it completely. Hopefully, the update will be an improvement, if it even updates. Not impressed!!!
