Electro Ahorro is an app developed for Android devices that helps us save on the electricity bill by helping us choose the best rate depending on your consumption, contracted power, surplus, etc. or if we know how to take advantage of the time slots in which the price of energy is cheaper, for example.
It has a comparator that simulates your bill at more than 80 different rates from both the free market and the regulated market. This simulation helps you make the decision if you want to change the provider, but it is your responsibility to analyze the conditions of the selected rate and review the official prices and contract conditions on the website of the same.
Whether you have a rate in the regulated market or in the free market, you can use the task planner to find out what time we should carry out an activity that produces energy consumption and achieve the greatest economic savings since it analyzes the duration of the activity with the price of electricity in each hour, according to your own rate.
It also shows the price of energy, surpluses, gas cap (Royal Decree-Law 10/2022), tolls, etc. related to the price of the regulated market PVPC.
You have the possibility of obtaining our electricity consumption in a given period as long as your distributor is associated with datadis.es and you have registered for said service or downloaded the consumption data in CSV format from your distributor. These data can be used in the rate comparator.
It also has a section to consult forecasts for the production of wind and solar energy, as well as the demand for electricity. You can also consult the derivatives on electricity to get an idea of the evolution of the price of energy and consult the consumption and production of energy in real time.
Finally, you can scan the QR code on your bill to get the data from it and, once again, be able to use it in the rate comparator.
