Straightforward guitar tuner. Single screen app that starts in auto tune mode. Simply run the app, hit a string and start tuning your guitar. Tune into the orange region for a good results or green for perfection.

This app uses your microphone to detect the string being played and indicate if you should tune up or down.

Pitch pipe function also included.

The standard EADGBE guitar (not implemented for very small screen devices) indicates current note being played or allows fast note selection in manual mode.

Tuning range from 30 Hz (B0) to 4186Hz (C8), so can also be used to tune other stringed instruments.

I already know how to tune a guitar and have a set of pitch pipes to help me tune my guitar accurately. I tried turning my guitar to this app and it tuned it perfectly. I was able to verify it with my pitch pipes. I am guessing that the folks giving this app a poor review have no idea how it actually works. It's quite simple really, but you first need to be musically inclined and have a good ear.

The developer, "keuwlsoft" normally makes amazing apps. They're functional, lightweight, and completely free with no ads. However this is not one of keuwlsoft's better offerings. It is laggy (has a very slow refresh rate) and has almost no options to customize. I really can't recommend this app.

Took a bit to get it together. Newbe here, eh sorry let me get out of the way. Anyway it worked great. I borrowed my daughters guitar her b/f put the strings on. Dumb a's got the bottom 2 strings backwards. then cause he's so cool n knows it all. Cut the excess strings off. So there will be no Changing that back to practice. I did have to delete it to save space. cant play those great games with out memory! l8
