Ko-cha! weaponises your phone with AR, so you can have paintball style battles in the real world. Whether you just want to shoot your mate in the face, or play a full on team game in a park or museum, Ko-cha! has the tools to make combat possible anywhere. The weapons are augmented, so no one around you can see what you’re up to. This means you can play in locations you could never dream of taking a laser tag gun, paintball gun, Nerf gun or a super soaker. This opens up a world of combat opportunities that literally never existed before we invented photo combat.
Why Photo Combat?
Each ko-cha you make captures a photo, which is turned into an animated kill video, that gets sent to the phone of whoever you targeted. Ko-cha works on face detection. The skill is in being able to catch your opponents at a time (or from an angle) they never saw coming. Just like paintball and laser tag, there is a lot to learn and a lot to get good at.

- Ko-cha! only requires your phone.
- If your friends have the app you can target them directly and your shots will go straight to their phone, notify them, play the video and score the 'kill' on both your phones.
- You don't necessarily need to know your opponents. Ko-cha! detects all willing combatants within 50m of you. This also makes it extremely simple to start a game. Just zero your score and go for it.
- You can shoot anyone. Your target person doesn't need to have the app. Ko-cha! creates short videos of your shots which you can also send via SMS, WhatsApp etc.
- You can shoot any photo in your camera roll.
- Choose from a variety of weapons. More will be added over time.
- Pick a skin you're recognised in and celebrate your target's demise.

Whether it's sniping through your photo library or engaging in real life splurge wars (discrete enough to be played at work or in a museum), Ko-cha is loaded with opportunities to mess about, create rich times with your pals, join like minded others for free games in your city and go up against that girl in the bus right now.
Notes:
- The Ko-cha app is free to play and will in time offer in-game purchases and assets you can earn.
- Ko-cha works on face detection, not face recognition. Manual targeting is required. It also makes the app incredibly versatile, only limited in it's application by the boundaries of imagination and instinct for mischief.
- Having Location enabled and the app running (at least in the background) is essential for targeting local players or being targeted. Your location data is used for no other purpose.
- Your 48 most recent Hit and Kill photographs are kept on our servers only for the purposes of you accessing them. Your photos are not used for any other purpose. All photos are deleted from our servers as the galleries replace them with more recent photos.
- Some operational issues may arise if you have a significant number of apps running simultaneously in the background. To avoid this during play consider closing unnecessary apps.
Ko-cha collects Device ID and Location data for the sole purpose of enabling targeting of other players.
No user data whatsoever is provided to third parties for marketing purposes.
