I downloaded this as a website monitoring tool - I wanted to know if my website, hosted at my house, was down while I was away on vacation. The problem seems to be that the program does not tell me in a timely manner when it does not get a response from the website, instead it seems more focused on telling me when it sees it again... A little late in my book. It does keep an eye on what I want it to, and it generally doesn't blow up in my face, so it gets 4 stars. But I wanted a down detector.

Good app overall, good for keeping tabs on website's server. Only problem, to many false positives, regardless of the settings. Only want to be notified when my sites/server are really down. Do not care about very short, few second, pinging errors.

Recently I get an error when I use ping when the screen is off It gives me an error. ERROR>ping: sendmsg: Operation not permitted. I am running Android 7.1.2 Is there some kind of workaround or something I can do. Or can you address the problem in the next update
