panicked mechanic
Love the app, the concept, the layout, the features, etc. Only 2 small complaints; 1. without an internet connection, you can't access your notes. It'd be nice to have a cached version on your device that can sync later. 2. Not all features of the markdown formatting work. E.g. "# Header" does not make a larger header. Overall, love the app, my coworkers and I are shifting to this for collaboration.

Meh. The app is a great idea. I'd love using it if it weren't so buggy. For starters I had a great deal of stuff on it and my whole account vanished. It's not that I forgot my password, my email address/ username disappeared from the server. Second, it's an Android app. Meant to be used on an Android phone. Only trouble is if a call comes in while you're using Turtl, Poof! there goes your work. The concept is great but what good is it if you can't rely on not losing your work. Looks like for now I will have to go back to password protecting Word documents instead. Not as convenient but far more reliable. I'll keep turtl and try future versions. I'd be willing to use it if it becomes more reliable. Hope springs eternal.

The interface for writing a note has a claustrophobic limit of only 5 visible lines when composing. More real estate is given to titling and classifying, or three sparse buttons (tag, save, and formatting help) than for writing notes. Why is there no folding option menu? Why is the big top bar wasted with only a back button and veiw button? The frustration is glaring because in contrast to its primary feature, note taking, everything else about Turtl is so fantastic!
