About this app
ETNOŽADINTUVAI is a Lithuanian alarm clock app that features 36 tracks played on traditional Lithuanian musical instruments. Besides all the regular alarm clock functions, this app offers an opportunity to get to know the traditional instruments played in the five ethnographic regions of Lithuania through cute illustrations and short descriptions.
The app was created on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the Vilnius University Folk Ensemble RATILIO and is part of the project ‘5x5 Traditions: Folklore of the Ethnographic Regions of Lithuania’. The project is co-funded by the Lithuanian Council for Culture.
Recorded in the Lithuanian National Culture Centre studio 2022.
