Looxie is a location-based mobile discovery platform. It is a simple way to share photos with people around you.

HOW IT WORKS
Looxie is a simple way to request photos from other users at ANY location. When you send a Looxie Request, it notifies users in the area that you’re requesting the photos from. They can then open the app, snap a photo, and send it back to you!

• Want to see if your favorite bar is too crowded? Send a Looxie Request and someone will send you back a photo of the bar.
• Ever wonder what a certain part of Paris looks like? Find out by sending a Looxie request to that area!
• How about Times Square at this time of day? Now you can see exactly what it looks like… in real time!

The way to send a Looxie request is to drop a pin on the map or just search for the place you're looking for. This location-based photo request platform is as simple as can be!

UPDATE: I've seen the post and thanks for the quick reply. 1. When I use the search function, I can't actually click on a photo to be able to view it and zoom in. All it does when I click that it switches to the next photo and the same happens with Sent Looxies. 2. No full screen viewing available! 3. Settings is greyed out and I can't access it? 4. I can't view the likes of a certain image! 5. I am getting a ton of requests of user NewbieTown, is it a bot?

Interesting app but after 3 years it severely lacks what I would call basic required features. Can't see my Looxies full screen, can't see the comments on them or any likes. Search let's you see many pictures but you can't open them and they have the date overlay, I don't really understand the purpose of it then. You should be able to look for a POI to make a request instead of the map, requests counter doesn't increase. I get hundreds of new users requests. What are points for?

Can't check comments on my own pictures. Can't download my own pictures. Never include option to share from gallery. No matter what... Don't ever add that option if u want the app to do what its supposed to do. Update: I want to give 10 star.. But waiting for option to download out own photos. Not others, our own. Get notification that someone commented cool on my looxie but i can't find that pic. Also not all of my pics are being displayed. Maybe clean tab to see all the pics that we received.
