Better than other jukebox apps (cross fade not included in most others), but clearing the now playing queue is hard to find and takes too many steps. Has problems handling large libraries. Takes too long to scan files into the app database. Paid the extra money to synchronize with NAS library, but there are issues. The app "initializes" the micro SD card in my android phone every time I use synch. Then, instead of synching existing files, it creates thousands of new files that aren't on the NAS.

Thanks for the feedback. Note that MediaMonkey for Android is designed to sync with MediaMonkey for Windows--that ensures that all metadata and play history is kept in sync between your device and your PC.

Not on par with the desktop experience. The album art finding capabilities are poor. It attempted to find Beach Boys Pet Sounds, one of the most popular albums of the 20th century, and pulled some random press photo of the beach boys. The ability to edit file data in general is missing several features that are found on the desktop. You can't edit track order on an album. It's ok though.

Thanks for the feedback! The current released of MMA is intended to be used in conjunction with MMW i.e. use MMW to do the serious management, and use MMA mainly for playback. The next major release is going to add full tagging support to MMA at which point it'll become more of a standalone product.

You are in control, not some big company. Every song or soundtrack you put in this app are managed entirely by you, the user. Wanna listen to music offline? This app has you covered. Wanna still get audio with your screen off without paying exorbitant amounts of money? This app has that too, and for no cost. MediaMonkey is the only media player I will ever be fully satisfied with, and I haven't even paid for the extra feature upgrades. I recommend this media player wholeheartedly.
