WineAdvisor simply collects opinions from it's users, some of whom have a commercial interest. For example, one user rated only one Bordeaux, Tour la Vérité :-) with notes between 8.5 and 9.5 depending on the year. For 2020 this wine cost 1€95. Another gave similar notes for the same years. Then you are invited to buy the wine from Leclerc. Technically, the app has numerous bugs, and is barely functional. At least the app taught me to disregard completely the advertised ratings of WineAdvisor.
