JPEG XL image Viewer is a fast and light weight JPEG XL file viewer and converter for Android. JPEG XL files can be opened using the system built-in file browser or the app can be called from an external application.
Supported conversion format:
- PDF
- JPEG
- PNG
- WEBP
JPEG XL generally has better compression than WebP, JPEG, PNG and GIF and is designed to supersede them. JPEG XL competes with AVIF which has similar compression quality but fewer features overall.

the good is it works well as it states opens jxl files which is notably rare for this android platform does so with great quality rendering its perfect flawless even the converting feature works just as well even if it takes a little bit of time the bad isnt really to bad id love to give 5 stars but the app returning to its home position in the ui is a bit of a pain and theres no reason for it that i can see just adds an extra 2 clicks to the process of returning to the file manager

No idea if it works as it does not support JXR files. It would be a good idea to add that support since the XBox Game Bar creates those. HDR gamers would appreciate it.
