WGU Mobile is the official Western Governors University mobile application for active students. You can study on-the-go by accessing your courses, receive push notifications for assessments, easily contact faculty, and more.

The new WGU Mobile has been completely redesigned! With the new app, you can:
• Use the app on your phone or tablet in portrait or landscape orientation
• Receive push notifications for updates on your assessments
• View your entire degree plan, including the courses you are enrolled in, those you have completed, and those remaining to complete your degree
• Access all your courses, including being able to view Course Announcements, Tips, and Assessments
• Pick up your course right where you left off in the Student Portal—your course progress is automatically synchronized between the two
• Easily locate contact information for your program mentor, course instructors, and WGU support departments
• Access helpful links to resources like the WGU Library, Student Handbook, and more
• See which mobile apps other students find useful in the App Center

Ratings and reviews

Sometimes cuts half the textbook assessments off the side with no way to view it. Some textbooks constantly pull up table of contents every 5 seconds making them unreadable. It also changes how far into each page you are looking if your phone switches to horizontal or vertical orientation and again to a different location if you rotate the orientation back. Also does not track metrics correctly leading instructors to think you have not read the lesson or viewed the videos. Changes pg fr no reaso

The app is very buggy. It crashes, times out, fails to login, and is unresponsive at times. It also uses a browser inside of the app to play the videos which results in a not so friendly mobile ui. Website works perfectly fine on mobile, but not inside the app. There's also not enough padding on the video controls so it's pretty easy to hit the wrong button while trying to pause. There are more issues, but I hit the character limit lol.

I gotta say the redesign of then UI is amazing. Just 1 gripe and it's pretty big, none of the functionality transfer over on a fold phone. If you open a course with the phone open it reverts to the old design and defaults to not being enrolled in a class no matter how you try to access the course. I would love to help out with screenshots and logs to try and sort that out. Great and convenient app otherwise.
