You can activate access to the online application, with no visits to the bank, if you get the "Bun Venit" Package. Or you can apply for access in any branch or via Internet Banking.

The new "request money with phone number" feature did not initially work on my phone. For some reason, in my agenda, some phone numbers were saved with dashes ( like 07xx-xxx-xxx ). The app did not know how to work with them and also did not let me manually write the phone number. I had to change the phone numbers in my agenda. Overall a good and easy to use app.

Great banking app, not sure why it's so hated. But I gotta admit they still have to implement new design over leftovers of old UI of the old app. Also it's beyond me why you can't use the app to open an account and have to use the browser and why do I have to use the pin on to see card details or to confirm transactions if it already suports the finger print / face ID authentication. Also I wish they would come up with a better startup design logo for the app as it looks very old office suite.

App crashes constantly. Requesting an activation code doesn't work. We are forced to go to an agency for that. Like other user said, take as example other banking providers, like ING. Very bad experience with CEC app.

What's new

We launched a new version of the Mobile Banking application - CEC app, through which we offer users the opportunity to activate the Dark Mode function. Access the Settings section of the application and select your favorite theme: Light Mode, Dark Mode or Automatic (depending on the operating system setting)!
