The Hungarian Tourism Agency provides the VENDÉGEM Szállászág accommodation management mobile application free of charge to accommodation establishments with a maximum of 8 rooms and 16 beds, which are registered with the National Tourist Information Center (NTAK). In the mobile application, the entire administration of the accommodation can be carried out, all reservations can be recorded in advance, and other expenses other than the accommodation fee can also be recorded for the guests' room bills. The mobile application also includes a document reader module, which allows both accommodation providers and guests to read the data of the documents, and the NTAK also performs the data service automatically.

Tried to use this app. Could not upload or 'scan' my ID as required. Constantly said there was glare - tried different rooms and different lighting. Partner tried the android version with the exact same failure. Absolutely stressed and contacted hosts to admit our defeat and luckily they were able to help do it on their end. Please do something to make this app more user friendly as it's impossible to load and quite frankly makes people really stressed out as it's for an important reason!

Everything is fine with the app. Just start with the code you received by email, then fill in the required information. For adults, scan your ID card first from the front, then from the other side and fill in the required blanks. For children without an ID card, use the information from the passport and fill in manually. It's easy and don't blame the app. It lasts 5 min. max.

I reserved apartament on booking and received link to this app. It wants me to take photos of my ID and upload God knows where and for what. Then they want to do "verification over the call". Basically bank-level verification in some amateur app with 10k downloads, to sleep somewhere for one night. Really bright idea. I will cancel booking if anyone requires me to use that thing.
