ACT Mindfully is born as a tool to teach to manage unpleasant thoughts, emotions and sensations without avoiding or being controlled. At the same time the commitment to act is promoted, in order to live a life full of values. In other words, ACT Mindfully teaches how to act in the directions of life that have value, changing what can be changed and accepting what can not be. To achieve this goal, exercises based on the main third generation approaches of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy are used: specifically, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
