The Veilingkwartier App informs you about the development of the new Veilingkwartier residential area on the old Veilingterrein in Tiel. From 2024 onwards, a new residential neighborhood with approximately 325 owner-occupied and rental homes and lots of greenery will arise at this historic and industrial location. In addition, new buildings will be built on the outskirts for (part of) the practical education and the vocational college of the Lingecollege. The Veilingkwartier is located opposite Tiel Central Station and close to the center of this Hanseatic city.
In the app you will find information about the project, planning, visual material and notifications about the work during the preparatory work and during construction. You can report questions, complaints or reports via the app.
The municipality of Tiel and BPD | Bouwfonds Area Development established a Joint Exploitation Company: the GEM Veilingterrein BV. The GEM is responsible for the elaboration of the plans.
