The National Park of Casentino Forests, Mount Falterona and Campigna is a great place for country activities: a solid network of trails takes us inside the ancient forests, old-growth forests and environments marked by the secular presence of the man. The Park is crossed by the Alta Via dei Parchi, a long route that connects the protected areas of the Apennines in the Emilia-Romagna Region and that locally coincides with the Trail of the Sacred Forests.
In this framework, the proposed three-day rings with two nights in a "hut" are new: not only shelter, but also cottages, inns and old estates that will offer us the best of rural hospitality, immersed in the local tradition and a territory rich in history and nature, assured of a warm welcome on arrival at the structures involved.
The proposals are designed in collaboration with the LAG L'Altra Romagna and with other LAGs of Emilia-Romagna Region, in the framework of inter-territorial cooperation project "Rural Tourist routes multifunctional Emilia Romagna".
