This application is a service of the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) & Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). The ESS application provides employees of MINDEF/SAF with convenient access to their leave and claims application. They can submit their leave and claims application on-the-go and receive notifications anytime and anywhere. Very poor app. Very slow and crashes all the time. Selections are also not intuitive to use (e.g time bar "slides" too much and difficult to select the exact time). After being deployed for so long, the app is still rubbish. Still crashes often and is extremely slow.

So many bugs I thought I was outfield. If the ESS isn't working, why not show a notice on the login screen so that EVERYONE is informed instead of sending an email which probably would not get disseminated in time? I think its generally a good idea to shift MC/leave application to a self service system. However, the application needs a lot of polish in the user experience. Often I would experience the spinning grey ball of death and have to restart. Also, the loading times are way too long.

Could mot login..keeps showing "Access denied. You do not have a valid account". No Helpdesk. No help button. Unreliable app. Sometimes can login, sometimes cannot. Being forced to use an app like this is really frustrating. Seriously, there is no improvement even with updates. I have been trying to apply for leave for the past 2 hours and cannot get through at all.
