App apparently does convert .heic to .jpg format successfully. Beyond that it borders on the ridiculous; demanding use of the "pro" version just to find files on the SD card? - luckily was able to move files to a folder it "could" find. And the full-screen "loud" video ads, that's kind of dismaying (same ad between every file conversion?). I don't plan on creating .heic files ever again, so this app to be uninstalled shortly...

Bogged down with ads after every action (the ads aren't programmed properly, either). There is just a list instead of thumbnails so you need to go searching for the filename elsewhere first. Also, the files are listed from oldest to newest, but you're generally looking for a recent image, so you have to scroll through years of images to find what you're looking for. It works, but its about as cumbersome and frustrating as possible. I will be using other options from now on.

It's a very low quality app that probably uploads the image to a free online heic to jpg converter, and bombards you with ads. A professional software would do the heic to jpg conversion itself instead of having to upload and download the image using an online service. Edit: I updated from 2 stars to one star, because instead of addressing any of the complaints directly, the developer just told me they will "update" the app, and wants me to rate 5 stars. That's not how it works.
