The WMNF app has never been "great"- the old version would stop streaming if my network changed - but playback usually worked. While the new Unity-based app looks pretty, it still has issues if my network changes, and it now also stops streaming whenever the app has been in the background for a few minutes. I've had the app playing with my phone on my desk, and playback just stops until I wake my phone and view the app. Hopefully I can find another way to listen, else I need to end my donation.

Great station, terrible app for listening to the main broadcast - no matter what device or connection Wi-Fi or cellular it stops playing every few minutes and I have to close the app, reopen it, and hit play again. Oddly the archives usually play with relatively little fuss. So much for TuneIn. It cuts out and has to be restarted constantly also - I can now onky listen to WMNF on the car radio. Thank goodness we have access to such wonderful technology to enrich our lives....

Love the station but this app is consistently infuriating. Regardless if I'm listening on Wi-Fi or on my expensive business phone or my cheap personal phone, I rarely get more than five minutes of listening before it stops and I have to close the app reopen it and hit play again. Same thing with the smart speaker, maybe twice a week it'll go as long as 10 minutes before it stops playing. Now TuneIn cuts out too - I can only listen to WMNF on my car radio. Thank goodness for modern technology...
