The smart drive does not work. It does not record my trips, even though my location settings are enabled. In general the app usually takes a long time to load and login. It is basically a waste of space of my phone, as it is non-functional. Please fix these issues, mainly the smart drive tab. And I will change this review when I see these changes.

The app worked beautifully until about two weeks ago, when I suddenly noticed that it was no longer recording journeys. I tried various things and then finally deleted it and re-installed the app. Upon reinstalling I received a warning that I needed to change the settings to stop the battery optimising so that the app could run in the background which I did. However it still will not recording, after re-installing a number of times. I have checked that the app has access to location settings and battery optimisation is turned off, but I cannot get it to work.

Undoubtedly the worst application on my phone. It seems Outsurance and FNB run a competition to see who can build the worst app. Login time is horrific - I am not sure whether it is frozen or struggling to connect. The app is constantly crashing. And SmartDrive is a battery drain. It is difficult to imagine how a company like Outsurance cannot invest resources to build something that actually works well.
