How it works

Once you register (Quick, FREE and Easy) - Use the Map - choose the zone you are parked in , make sure you
have the right vehicle selected and ‘START’. That’s it!

When you return to your car, you can simply ‘STOP’ and only pay for the time you park. Smart.

You can also instantly start and stop a paid parking session by using the app to scan sign-posted QR code or
select the zone number; You can also search zones by name and numbers.

Once zone is selected - confirm your car from a list of vehicles in your account and press ‘Start’. The cloud
based CellOPark portal gives you secure access parking to your history as well as the ability to produce reports,
change your account settings and control your parking payments online.

The optional Premium membership is $1.99 per registered vehicle per month (capped at $4.99) and only
charged in months the CellOPark app is used. Premium account holders receive push notification reminders via
iMoved after driving away from a parking bay and SMS reminders before allowable parking time ends.

Background location permission is only used for iMoved and must be enabled for iMoved to work.
Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

Ratings and reviews

This app is intentionally designed to profit off you when you forget to stop the parking timer. Their iMoved feature is for premium accounts only and there is no way to pre-set the parking duration. I have paid for a full day several times by mistake. In their own words "this rarely happens" so there is no way to claim a refund. This is conscious robbery.

Deceptive app. Our local council requires this app to use street parking. No choice of supplier. When app prompts to enable notifications it doesn't alert that this switches from free to paid service, which apparently can't be undone using the mobile app. App tries to force users to rate it 5 stars. Badware beware.

Asks if you want to turn on notifications but then pops up a dialogue box to subscribe to premium services. Very misleading. No way to cancel premium services in the app once they're enabled.
