About this app

This Android application is an Explanation About the Open Debate of Ahlu-Sunnah Versus Ingkar Sunnah By Abduh Zulfidar Akaha. In PDF format.

There is a simple logic that we should contemplate together. The answer to logic -in the form of this question will greatly determine our beliefs and common sense about the existence of As-Sunnah An-Nabawiyah. The logical question is: "Did the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa Sallam during his lifetime never say a single word (or in the extreme: a single letter) to his companions other than the words contained in the Qur'an?" Saying “yes” is the most illogical and most preposterous answer to this question. And that should be the answer of those who deny the Sunnah -recognized or not as a consequence of their denial of the existence of the Prophet's Sunnah. Even the simplest logic -but sound- will answer "no" to the question.

Since the first time the Qur'an was revealed until Rasulullah Shallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam died at the age of 63, for 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 29 -or 30- days a month, 12 months a year; it is very illogical if during that time, the words of the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam were just text per text from the Al-Qur'an, and never uttered a word from himself. Imagine when he was making out with his wives, joking with his friends, entertaining the children, delivering strong rebukes to his wives and friends, praying to his God, conducting business transactions, and other activities. Is it possible that in all these activities, the words that came out of his mouth were only the texts of the Koran? This question is actually simple. But -once again the answer will determine our belief in the existence of the Sunnah.

To deny the existence of the Sunnah is to believe that apart from his life, the Messenger of Allah never uttered a single word from himself, or even if he did, you need not pay any attention to it.

Well, whit. Only the Qur'an you need to pay attention to, while the words of the Prophet put it away! (I don't know how their faces will look when they meet the Prophet sallallaahu Alaihi wa Sallam in the afterlife...)

When Ahlu Sunnah - throughout history - fought for the Sunnah of the Prophet, one of the simple logic that underlies their struggle is the above. Namely that even though Rasulullah Shallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam received and conveyed the Al-Qur'an, it is very unlikely that as long as it was only the texts of the Al-Qur'an that came out of his mouth. There is no explanation, or any other message from him that is outside the text of the Qur'an.
