Giving it 2 stars because it functions, but I wish I could map the select button to it in Android mode, my only options are start (three lines), home, and back. I want to be able to use this controller on emulators available on the Nvidia Shield, but I can't map the emulator's quick menu button to the controller while also mapping the select button to it. I have to sacrifice 1 button in order to use the quick menu, which limits what psx games i can emulate & play with this controller.

Virtually useless. It has so many limitations for what you can do with button mapping, macro options, etc, that I just reverted all of my customization and use the Steam Deck's controller configurator to customize stuff. All that it lacks is the macro feature, but again, with the restrictions 8BitDo have in place in this app, macros can't do something as simple as mapping the left star button to open the Steam Deck quick settings (Home+A) because Home can't be bound to Star. Makes no sense.

The app doesn't work for me despite my controller being connected to my phone. The back buttons on my Ultimate Bluetooth Controller are effectively useless until I get a Windows laptop which I currently do not own. I only have a laptop with Linux on it which from what I've read in other reviews, isn't supported either. I guess it's a good thing I'm only using the controller for the Switch at the moment, but having full functionality to play around with would be nice.
