About this app

Aktivate can be used by Athletic Directors, Coaches, parents and players to keep the entire team connected and communicating! Our mobile app opens the lines of communication to connect school admins with parents and players.

Athletic Directors and coaches are able to:
- view real-time registration status of athletes
- share important announcements through a dedicated channel
- communicate to separate groups for parents and players
- direct message other users
- Share team photos and videos with other users

Parents and players are able to:
- receive announcements from coaches on news for the upcoming season
- communicate to groups you are a part of
- direct message the coach and other users (parents only)
- Share team photos and videos with other users

There are so many moving pieces to making sure sports teams have a winning season and our mobile app is the solution for a stronger connection!

Ratings and reviews

This app doesn't allow for small group chats. Yes, I can message all parents or all athletes but that is the extent of allowable groups. So you are either sending an individual chat to one person, or a general message to every person who is in the parent or athlete groups. Not ideal for programs who have multiple teams since you can't message just your varsity team/parents, for example, instead of all athletes/parents. Also, every time I press the attach button to add a picture, the app closes.

When I try to log on via the app, a message says user not found with my phone number. However, I can log on via website. Although, I need the app to view team messages in which the website doesn't offer that.

I really like the idea of this app but I cannot get it to let me login. Keeps saying my phone number is incorrect and I've gone into the website and "saved" my number multiple times. Therefore I can only use the website which sucks on a phone.
