About this game

An app anyone can enjoy with which you learn to have perfect and relative pitch. Especially suited to those learning the chords of just intonation.
This app is beloved by many, from those who want to be good at karaoke to brass band and orchestra members.

Hello everyone.
This "Music Game" app is the sequel of my previous work.
This time, the focus lies on learning double-stop notes (just intonation).

In this app, two sounds are played at the same time, but the decision is calculated on the basis of just intonation.
For example, when matching major third "do" and "mi", there is a gap of 4 semi-tones, so in equal temperament there is an interval of 400 cents.
However, in just intonation, "mi" has a 5/4 frequency ratio to "do", so when calculated, the interval becomes (1200 x log2 (fE / fC) =) 386.3... cents.
This means that for the piano (equal temperament) interval you have to take a minor interval of approximately -14 cents.
Therefore, use the piano sound only as a guide, and match the tone of the sound by feel.
The trick is to operate it so you lose the beat. It will suddenly become a clear sound at a certain position. That will be the just interval tone.

※Chords reference tone is A=442 Hz.

I love the app, and it's a great tool to use with students to get them to focus in on pitch — however, the sound effects (applause, trombone noises) after each level can be distracting and disorienting. I wish I had the option to turn these off. By the same token, I wish I could pay to remove the ads as their music and sound effects are similarly distracting. The lack of a settings tab at all is a turn-off for me.

Wonderful!! That's what I was looking for! Please, add chords! As a woodwind player I always was limited by keys. We just press a key and think that it is in tune. But, string players always conscious about their pitch. That's why they have way better trained ear. This app allow me to train my ear the way as a string player sliding their finger to match the interval. Thank you! Please, add the chords.

I have used the Apple version of this app on my iPad all throughout university for vital ear training. Although the Android version currently does not have all of the features of the Apple version, I am excited for the possibility to change default sounds, adjust certain settings, and the opportunity to support the creator of this app. I am happy this app has finally made it to Android because now I can practice on my phone instead of my iPad, which I carry with me everywhere. Thank you!
