Epicurus (341 BC - 270 BC) was an ancient Greek philosopher. Founded his own school of philosophy, in the name Garden of Epicurus, which is considered the most well-known schools of Greek philosophy.
Was an Athenian citizen, son of Neocles and Chairestratis. Epicurus died in 270 BC at the age of 72 years.
