In my opinion, the app is very easy to navigate and the tools such as but not limited to the note sounds and the many different fingerings are very useful. Although, you can only have access to the sounds and ALL the fingerings with the Pro version, I think about 5$ is cheap and worth it to have complete access on-the-go unless you prefer to visit their website or youtube rather than the app. Their website also includes fingerings for other instruments.

Thanks for the awesome review!

the fingerings work which is good because I need to learn how to play the flute well enough to play a marching band show in the next 3 months, but it would be much better if it had a display where you can see the entire chromatic scale fingerings, it's tiresome looking for different notes. Also, the website has more features available than the actual app which is dumb. Just make the alternate fingerings free.

Hi there. If you purchase pro, using the practice list might help you out quite a bit with making the exact scale you want.
For charging for pro: we wanted to give people a way to use it for free but also for us to be able to make something back from the huge development costs.

this app is really nice as a beginner flute player, but just one thing, if you didn't pay for the pro version, you still have the option to add notes to the "practice list." but when you try to go into the practice list, it says you need to buy pro to access it, so then it's just a distracting purple square on the screen you can't get rid of.
