Application for self-study of reading in the Louis Braille system.
It can even be used by completely blind people: we tried to make navigation as convenient and understandable as possible using screen readers, and each section is provided with help.
What can the Learn Braille app do?
- Section "Training": a step-by-step course based on the methodology of V.V. Golubina. Includes 26 lessons (Russian letters, numbers and some punctuation marks)
- Section "Practice": repetition of the acquired knowledge by self-entry of letters in Braille
- Section "Scan QR Code": the ability to train tactile skills using physical Braille cards, checking yourself by scanning the QR code on the back. To work in this mode, you need an additional special set of cards (and, preferably, a case-stand for a smartphone).
The application was developed by students in collaboration with typhoid teachers to teach Braille from scratch. Focused on both the sighted and the visually impaired and blind people.
