AutoGuard records various lengths of video, acceleration, latitude, longitude, and speed.

This is my favorite app, this turned my Samsung galaxy into an amazing road camera, I have it setup to load the videos to youtube when complete, very handy! Original review Sept 2018: Still my most useful and least problematic app ever. Have only had a few problems and those were user-end problems. Has saved me more than once in actual traffic accidents. This once great app is now useless with the Paid version left abandoned at older versions of Android. There are so many times in the past I wish I had dash cam captured! Now I can. The biggest problem I have with this app is focus. Neither my Galaxy S5 or Motorola RAZR keep constant focus - they seem to be trying with the image going on & out of focus all the time. Otherwise a great app.

I downloaded and installed this app on a recommendation from a friend and lo & behold I got a great program. This program does a good job at video recording your trips, I have used this several times and have been very impressed, it even does good in heavy rain, but not so good at night, I know this depends on the quality of your phones camera. The only suggestions I have would be an option to list longitude & latitude somewhere at the bottom of the program and video. the other option would be an easier way to get to and view and / or remove them from the phone to a PC without doing a deep dive to find them. Otherwise, this program is simple, easy to install and use and I recommend it to anyone looking for a good dash cam from their cell phone.
