way too complicated and jumbled. Not sure how it works bc it's too complicated to figure out. And after the 'update', it often says ' system has not connected to WiFi recently. Check your connection.' But everything else in the house works, including the actual thermostat and the app's useless gps/outdoor air quality settings. There is NO option to do anything about it. It just lets you know it's not working right now and you can just hope it decides to work some other time.

Update 8/27/2023: A year in and I still don't like the app compared to the original. Recently, I started getting email notifications any time the status changed (cooling to fan only, etc.). I don't need the email... I'm the one that changed it! The settings have an option to change notifications, but you can only edit the primary email address. This app sucks. I'd give it 0 stars if I could!

Liked the old app interface better... It was like the actual thermostat. This one is only intuitive for setting the temp and nothing else. For the price $$s we pay for these systems and to be locked into these ION t-stats, it's absolutely unacceptable for how bad and unreliable this app is. I pay this amount for a system, I should be able to expect it to just work, especially when away from home.
