About this app

Oscilloscope is a real-time audio spectrum analyzer, a waveform sound visualizer and a microphone level meter with reasonable frequency resolution across the entire available frequency spectrum.

💬 FAQ 💬

Q: What is this application for?
A: The Oscilloscope helps you quickly evaluate audio signal features when you don't have more accurate devices, so you can understand the car engine RPM, your musical instrument peak frequency, voice characteristic, sound signal level, waveform, FFT waterfall history, etc. without any additional math and physics knowledge.

Q: Why are there are no dB values on the grid?
A: Instead of using dBFS (Full Scale) where 0 dB is the maximum power that the microphone can measure, the Oscilloscope uses only graphic representation for a signal that helps quickly evaluate the frequency and its history without tons of inaccurate data that smartphone can produce.

Q: Can I zoom in on the spectrum plot?
A: For now no, but it's quite simple for implementation, so feel free to request any feature for adding.

Not for me much more useful tos than this, I'm not a fan of hard to read results. Give me, solid lines, real numbers that apply directly to what I just tested. Blurry graphs and hard to enterprit results are not tools. Far better testing and analyzing apps available

Not a terrible O-Scope by any means it allowed me to tune a 1200 watt monoblock amp that powered two 450 RMS subs. It didn't get it exactly where I needed it, but at least I know I don't have any distortion that will blow my subs out. Great app, thanks WeRunTheWorld Devs!

Awesome and simple sound analyzer with no any distracting controls and details. Bring more apps like this.
