Initially, the app worked without any problems, but in the last six months, I have had to uninstall and reload the app multiple times. The app will lock up and nothing will help. A window pops up, usually when I log off, that says, "ERROR...The data network is busy or unavailable. Please try again or come back later." Well, once you get this window, there's no "come back later". I have to uninstall and reload it again. This app needs to be fixed!

I don't like that you can't use a password that has been one of your previous 10. And when you inevitably forget it you get locked out, and the only way to reset it is by either calling the bank, or entering all your info that you may or may not have on hand, and then you must come up with a whole new password that isn't one of the last 10.

Their website is awful; the app is awful. I wanted a local bank, but I can't deal with the outdated, user-UNfriendly apps. Capital One has me spoiled. Edit - 12/27/21. Still awful. Still the same problems. It rejects my correct username and password, so I am unable to log in. Tristar needs to overhaul the app and their website. Truly dreadful customer experience. Edit - 5/26/22. Same issues. Went to bank and closed account.
