About this app

The liturgical calendar, also known as the Catholic Church calendar, consists of Holy Days, Feasts, the start and end day of the Catholic seasons (Advent, Christmas, Lent, The Triduum (Good Friday, Holy Saturday & Easter Sunday).

The Catholic calendar starts on the first day of Advent, which is 4 Sundays before Christmas. The other seasons are calculated based on this date.

The Liturgical Calendar application will help you to find the Holy Days, Feast for any year on the go! The catholic feasts like Advent start date, Tridumm, Lent are calculated dynamically for each year.
You can read daily reading and Saint of today.
The Liturgical Calendar application is in English language. Support for multiple languages will be added and published soon.

This was the Best app. I loved it, but lately, they started having pop-up ads as you read. It's horrible. It is such a distraction as you go through the readings. At 1st, I thought I could ignore it since I loved the app so much, then started trying to read faster so as to not be interrupted, but it has just taken away from the experience. It has deprived me of enjoying it. I am done, and I am Uninstaling it. I can just read the misal that I ordered on Amazon. Sad to see such a great app die.

In the light of hagiography, this app is very user-friendly, concise and informative. I commend the developers for the great job. On the "The Feast of the Annunciation of the Lord" (Mon.8th April, 2024), this info is shown: "Jesus was 'CREATED' by God through Holy Spirit in Virgin Mary". The word 'created' renders it a theological absurdity. Rather, "JESUS was conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary by the power of the HOLY GHOST" (the mystery of Incarnation: cf. John 1:14).
