NUREG/CR-4041 was written by Idaho National Engineering Laboratory for the NRC in December 1984. As you already know, there were no Smart phones or Tablets in 1984. This App will allow an engineer in the Technical Support Center at a Nuclear Power Plant to perform calculations as described in NUREG/CR-4041 in an emergency event, regardless of the availability of electrical power, internet connectivity or lack of an IT infrastructure.
The application includes Steam Tables as well as the ability to perform pressure drop calculations in accordance with Crane Technical Paper No 410. It includes a partial library of piping and component information to facilitate this process.
In addition, Psychrometric chart data is now included.
