A heartfelt emotional visual novel revolving around teenage mental health and relationship problems! “The Sun Shines Over Us” is a touching empathetic narrative game with choices and multiple endings in an Indonesian high school.

🌻STORY🌻
You play as Mentari, a victim of bullying who just transferred school and trying to recover from her past trauma. In the game, you will help her making choices through school life and experience life-changing events that will affect her future.

🌻RELATIONSHIPS🌻
In school, there are many unique students, each with their own different characters and neuroses. There are three main characters which each different platonic routes depend on your choices throughout the story.

🌻MENTAL HEALTH REPRESENTATION🌻
Playing as Mentari, you will be facing different characters with different understanding of mental health and is not the only one with mental health challenges. Through the game, you will discover other character’s problems and you can also help each other through perilous times!

🌻NO GAME OVER🌻
You can replay the game and discover new scenes you previously missed - what you missed at the first time, you might find the second time! Choosing different options might open different scene and unlock deeper conversations with different characters.

Beautiful art and storyline. I am currently stopped a little way into episode 8 because the writing is no longer English. Also, it'd be good to have a way to replay single chapters instead of having to restart the whole story since im partly thru ch. 8 and dont understand most of what's happened. Also several spelling errors thru game. I know it's still in development so I'm looking forward to future updates 😊

Okay Art style is fantastic. All the characters designs are extremely gorgeous. The character development is great but I'm sorry to say. I only played and hr before uninstalling it. The game is good that's a fact but the ration between story line and choices isn't too bama ce. Its like you make like 1 or two choices before like the end of each story. As far as I've seen the choices really didn't affect the story much. Idk it's like if as a story it's fantastic but as a game not so much for me.

It's a great game actually, except for the cussing which I'm not a huge fan of but the story is really touching especially since I actually have two friends representing the same experiences like the main character and other characters..I myself has some of those experiences in the past..getting bullied, having social anxiety and all that, from recovering slowly but surely isn't that easy but it doesn't mean that it's impossible. Overall good game! I actually learn something from it!
